Evaluation task 4: Who would be the audiecne for you media Product?

Our Thriller is an action film about a tense, hostile murderous escape. This can attract a wide ranging audience of different social groups but dominantly male. It has a long suspense to it has suspending scene that build up tension and release them suddenly at there peak and shocks the audience.

We have to ask the question "who might be interested in watching our film?"

Well the majority of the audience will be male because that is typical that males can cope with and are interested in more sudden, adrenaline pumping attacking rather than slow mystery murder investigations. The characters in our thriller are all male, so it is more to relate to as a male viewer than a female one. However some of our audience could be into a quick action thrilled rush.
Our audience can be split up into different tribes In my opinion our views fall into the category of mainstream and alternate

The Mainstreams

Most of young people has eventually come under this category and they grow up and experiment with different styles. The majority of this tribe would be working class, verging on middle. Their choice in music is accessible and popular, they favour the artist or band that has the highest ratings or viewings in the chart or on youtube. There dress scene is new and casual and follow the popular crowd with big brands such as Addidas or Primark. They are heavy Tv watchers and Heavy cinema viewers. Th e typical environment and local of the Mainstream genre is in a city or large town. They are heavy social network users such as Facebook and Internet users. However they are not concerned with up to date issues involving political and foreign issues. They tend to Drink to get drunk as most youths experience every now and then. they can often commit acts of aggression and violence. they are always looking for the next big hit, weather that be drugs, sport of illegal acts. They do not tend to branch out to other tribes.

The Alternative

There is a lot to this tribe. The majority of them being working to middle class. Much more open minded about fashion Film and music than the Mainstream tribe. This tribes is full of young teens Looking for something a bit different and quirky but still falling under slight Mainstream-ism. This tribe is much more aware on whats going on in the world. This tribe is slightly more into there image, weather that be Gothic, rocker, skater, they like to dress according to different social groups.
