last lesson one of the media technicians came and had a talk to our class in how we should plan and base our music videos.

Luke told us that the best way to achieve a good music video was to not base our video around the lyrics or the concept on the song but the general vibe  and mood that the dong gives off. The Roots track that I want to use has an overall dark and grungy tone so I want the overall feel of the music video to be dark to suit the vibe that the song gives off.

Luke showed us a website called www.radarmusicvideos.com. This site helps Artists look for producers, directors and editors to create a video for their song. The Artist displays their budget for the video and a plan of what they want the video to be about and how they want to display themselves. For example luke showed us Breezeblocks by Alt-J.

I really enjoyed this music video. it create and slight confusion which make the audience want to watch it over again to try and grasp the concept. I really enjoyed the reverse effect. I think that adding these sort of visual effects really attracts the audience more because it is something they are not used to.

the budget for this music video was only £4,000 so I think that the director and producer has done exceptional well to produce high quality music video. it really shows that the budget is not a highly important factor in producing a successful video
