Camera Lesson One.

In our first week of studying media, our class had one camera lesson at the end of the week. We were taught the basics of how to setup the filming equipment, including the camera and the tri-pod. We were in three groups with a camera and a tri-pod per group.
We were shown how to attach the camera onto the tripod and the battery to the camera. the tripods we were using were very professional, we were shown how to get a balanced angle by using the spirit bubble of the tri-pod.
We were taught how to adjust the white balance to the surrounding so the colour in the picture becomes better quality, more life like. by showing the camera white, the camera can gauge every other colour from it. you can just use a piece of paper or the white balance.

We were also shown the basics of zooming, focusing, shutter speed and the level of exposure. For the focusing tutorial we were shown how to get the focus point of the shot by zooming up into the point were you would like the focus to be, focus on it and then zoom out. The cameras we had were good to work with, there were very complicated but they seemed very professional.

this is an image of the tri-pod we were using. It's very professional, very stable, smooth and efficient turning. i was also very easy to use and to connect the camera to it.
